He was part of several opposition tribunals, such as candidates for court attorneys, officials of the Barcelona City Council or substitute president of the oppositions of the Literary University of Barcelona, in which more than 400 applicants attended to teach boys and girls. . He continued to start his hour and a half class at eight in the morning until he retired when he turned 70, having been vice-rector and also rector of the University of Barcelona.
